Wi-Fi Power 2004 Industry Recognition & Best in Show Awards
TORONTO, MARCH 03, 2004 - Jake Gordon & Associates is pleased to announce that 2 types of awards have been presented in Wi-FiPower 2004 - Canada's Premier Wi-Fi Business Solutions Show. The first set of awards were Industry Recognition Awards, that were presented to companies in honour of their vision, leadership, innovation and contribution to the advancement of the Wi-Fi industry in Canada and as an acknowledgement of their contribution to the success of Canada's first Wi-Fi Show. The second group of awards, the Best in Show Awards, were presented to companies who took part in the event for technology innovation and product excellence.
To be eligible for the Best in Show Awards, a nomination for their product/service must have been submitted in advance and displayed at the Wi-FiPower 2004 exposition. In addition, the product/service must have been available for sale or purchase in Canada in 2004. The awards were selected by a committee comprised of 3 judges, and announced during the event on Wednesday, March 3, 2004. Immediately after the ceremony, the awards were delivered to the exhibitors' booth locations. We thank our judging committee for their assistance: Ron Kawchuk (Ron Kawchuk & Associates), Bruce Mottershead (BEMComm Consulting) and Michael Rozender (Rozender Consultants International).
Industry Recogntion Awards were presented to Bell Canada, Bell Mobility, Ericsson Canada, HP Canada, Intel Canada, Microcell Solutions, Rogers AT&T Wireless, TELUS Communications and TELUS Mobility.
A total of 15 Best in Show Awards were presented in various categories, as follows:
